As an AGRICULTURAL RECRUITER, you will spend most of your day on the
phone contacting agricultural professionals across Canada. You will
tell them about the current job opening, and ask them to consider who
might be possible candidates. Your goal will be to spread the word
about the job opportunities and ask for referrals until you identify
high quality candidates who meet our client's specification. After a
good candidate is identified and interviewed you will facilitate that
person's progress through our client's hiring process.

To be considered, you absolutely MUST have a Canadian agricultural
background, (the more diverse the better). You must be comfortable
making telephone cold calls, telling people about our current job
openings and asking for advice about where to find good candidates.
We are looking for someone who is efficient because there are lots of
calls to make and your client will be eager to see a short list.
Interpersonal and communications skills are important because you will
be calling strangers and asking them for information. Good computer
skills are required for reporting, tracking, sourcing resumes from our
database, and gathering information from the internet. And finally
you should possess a tenacious "keep at it until we reach our goal"
attitude, because sometimes it's challenging to find that ideal
candidate who satisfies our clients' needs.

We have a plan for ongoing growth. At this time we have a spot for one
junior level employee that we can mentor, and one senior level
consultant who can work closely with our clients and take
responsibility for a recruitment project.
